SWOON SONG

Let me gauge the edge of your horizon now,
Now that the breadth of your sprawled body

Spans the ocean. The whirl of water starts
From your navel, sucking me down timeless

Depths. I shudder as I prod my paddle dream-
Ward, my muscles weaving music as I heave

And plow through the swelling waves of your
Flabs. Your tongue, puissant on my salty skin

Untangles even the locked limbs of the octopus.
A mere whisper from you, and I'm stung as if

Whipped by the stingray's tail, your hand
An anemone on my chest. Stuttering, I mutter not

Now, not now will I drift away
                     From your body's tidal sway.
